Calendar of Events & Activities

Oct  3:  Silent Auction bids started at noon today until noon on Sunday.  Be sure to check the furniture ownstairs. 

Oct  4:  CWF Fall Rummage & Bake Sale, 9 am—1 pm. 

Oct  5:  World Communion Sunday

Oct  6:  Casino Trip to Shelbyville.  Contact George Lynam for more Information.  Be sure to sign the sheet on the bulletin board.

Oct 10-11:   Regional Assembly at Purdue in Lafayette

Oct 12:   Laity Sunday

Oct 14:   Board Meeting 7:30 pm in the Parlor, Committees to meet at 7 pm.  Nominations for 2009 Board, will be presented

                         by the Nominating Committee.

Oct 16:   IMPD Southeast District (Shelby Street) is presenting a free "Assault Prevention Training"

                        Session at 6 pm.  If interested let the church office know.  (If enough interest we might use the van.)

Oct 21:  The Annual Tina Griffin Toy Drive begins registration today 11 am 1 pm.

Oct 26:  Reformation Sunday.  

                        Poinsettia Order Forms will be in the Sanctuary each Sunday until December 16th.  Form will

                        be sent out in the November Leaves for those who would like to order flowers for Christmas.

Oct 27:  Elders & Trustees Meeting on the stage at 7 pm.

Oct 29:  Retirees Luncheon - Kathy's in Morgantown, meet church parking loat at 10:30 am.

Nov  1:  There will be a Brunch Meeting at 11 am in the Fellowship Hall.  This will be a meeting for "New

                        Christmas Ideas for the Sancturary".  We encourage you all to attend if for nothing else but

                        the great food!  Come and join us  for discussing and planning of the Christmas Decor for the

                        church.  If you have questions contact Dona Johnson or the church office.

Nov  2:  All Saints Sunday Worship recognition of all those lost this past Year.

                        Forms for the Crusaders Christmas Card will be availabel in the church every Sunday through

                        December 14th.  Cost is $5.00.  A form will also be sent in the November Leaves.

Nov  8:  General Cleaning of the church.  We did this last year, the crew did such a great job, we would like

                        to do it again.  We will start at 10 am and lunch will be served.  Please join us if you are able.

Nov 15:  CWF Annual Family Homemade Chicken & Noodle Dinner & Bake Sale 4 pm—7 pm .

                       Children’s Christmas Program after Worship in the Fellowship Hall, Reception to follow

Dec 21:   4th Sunday of Advent, Christmas Sunday, Dedication of Shaun Manuel II

Dec 24:   Church Office Closed, Silent Prayer and Communion 5 pm—11 pm, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service 11 pm
